Antarctica Photography Expedition

Dates

13 days · 12 nights

Just 18 guests aboard

A steel two-masted schooner with red sails, 18 guests, and the whole of the Antarctic summer.

We fly into King George Island and out the same way, so the Drake Passage is skipped entirely and every day is spent among the ice.

Highlights

  • Fly-in, fly-out: no Drake Passage, no seasickness
  • 18 guests only — a very different ship to the big cruise vessels
  • Red sails against the ice, the image the whole voyage is built around
  • Penguin colonies, seals and whales at close range by Zodiac
  • Photography instruction and image reviews on board
  • New Year's Eve among the icebergs
